First I just gotta say this picture is wonderful, I love the pose and the textures and the lighting.

I do love the pose BUT I think it could be improved in a few ways. When I first saw this I thought it was a cat climbing down a wall, on closer inspection he appears to be lying in the grass. Now, If the camera is pointed straight down at him both of his back legs would be visible to some degree, however its completely possible for him to be leaning to one side so that his other leg is tucked under his body. If that's the case, then the leg that is visible now should be moved out a bit and his other back leg should be poking out from under his belly like so: [link] this is sort of a bad example, but I couldn't find a picture with the same angle as yours. Most cats lay like this, rather than having both their legs directly under their bodies. Or, if you'd rather be looking directly down at him, then his legs should look more like this: [link] again, I couldn't find one with the same angle as yours, but see how only the leg is visible and not the paws because they are tucked under.

For his upper body, I like his face a lot and I don't think I would change anything. His front legs on the other hand could use some tweaking. For the position he's in, they are facing out too far. Cat elbows aren't like people elbows, their "arms" are positioned under their chest rather then down the side like ours are. His elbows can poke out a little bit, sure, but definitely not that much. [link] in this example you can see how far back the elbows are and how close against the cat's body they are. Move his front legs back, until the elbows are just barely visible beneath his head and that should look much better.

One last small thing, the black lines distract from the picture, and I think it would look better without them.

Also this would make a great bookmark!

You did a great job on this, but there is always room for improvement! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/>
